Thursday…humdrum

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

I seem to lose motivation on Thursday. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s the French. We learned in high school French class that the French had Thursdays off but had to go to school on Saturday. Kind of weird but that’s the French for you.

Can you tell me WHY people feel the need to send robots out into the internets and register for every friggin message board? I just deleted 24 spam members. UGH.

The boys are doing better with their daily tasks. But Ryan feels the need to play with everything and leave it out until that day comes and complains about on hard it is. sigh

The dry before the storms. My grass is looking sad. I have the sprinklers set but there is little water. Meanwhile, my next door neighbor has a leak that had reached grade and is running over the sidewalk annd down the street. He doesn’t seem to care.

I love Pottery Barn Kids!

As the boys drive me crazy, I am trying to focus on the good things, so I don’t kill them.

I got some baskets from PBK today. I love them! Yep, even more than Longaberger. I can get them in colors, I don’t need to host a party, and I don’t have to wait forever to get them!

Now I organize some stuff.

Summer Vacation Day #2

Friday, May 25th, 2007

The screaming has started, and it’s not me. Ryan is following Andy around like little brothers are wont to do. But Andy is not the typical big brother. He doesn’t understand it. He doesn’t like it. And he whines and cries. Then gets Ryan upset to where Ryan screams like a banshee. My blood pressure goes up but I stay calm, at least on the outside. 12 weeks to go. sigh

But I did get another card done.

Teacher cards are done.

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

I sure don’t remember giving my terachers anything at the end of school. And my mother certainly never hand made cards or gifts for them. But times have changed.

My gifts are not large or elaborate. I have 8 to give this year between teachers, aides and bus drivers. The Target Gift Cards were only $10-$15.

Tomorrow is the last day. sigh
