I have this thing for Milkyway Midnight candy bars. I love them cold from the fridge. So when I go grocery shopping, I grab myself one and then put it in the fridge when I get home. At Publix, I can get them at any checkout lane. But Target only has candy in every other aisle. And they always seem to be out of Milkyway Midnights.

Monday I was at Target getting my uppers and a few grocery items. They had Haagen-Dazs on sale so I grabbed my favorite Mint Chocolate Chip. (Yes, I know Breyers is a better deal and just as good, but if I get a half gallon, I will eat a half gallon. Portion control. ) Then I got some other boring items and went to check out. I thought the lane I had picked had Milkyway Midnights as I could see the box. But when I got closer, I saw the box was empty. So I left and walked back 10+ lanes to the last checkout where I knew I had seen some candy bars and grabbed one. On my way, I thought I shouldn’t get any as I had the ice cream. My greedy self disagreed.

Bonnie called and I grabbed the ice cream. And I ate the whole damn thing and then got ice cream bloat. Damn kharma.
