I took this last night when the weather started looking iffy. It was the first band to break off of faye and reach us. It only produce a few sprinkles. Today, faye took a turn to the east and avoided us. We got wind and clouds but little else.

They are good at hiding their excitement for the first day at school. The only thing that was making them grumpy was me making them sit so I could get a photo.

I may be a little anxious to send the boys off to school tomorrow morning. I don’t normally get their lunches ready the night before. At least I waited to put in their drink so they can stay cold in the fridge.

Today, the boys went swimming for the last this summer. School starts on Monday and even though the weather will be hot for the next couple of months, the boys won’t want to go swimming again. It was kind of sad, especially since the weather did not cooperate and we had to leave early.
